Responsibilities
Assisting Electrical and/or Mechanical engineers on new product design as needed
Design verification testing for electrical and/or mechanical requirements through the product development process
Assist with new product documentation and troubleshooting during prototyping
Ensuring new products can be manufactured on a repetitive basis utilizing standard materials and common manufacturing methods
Interacting with manufacturing floor personnel, operations support team members, purchasing and suppliers
Qualification
Required
Schooling in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Ability to work full-time Summer hours
This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, this position is open only to applicants who qualify as 'U.S. Persons' as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. Preferred
Experience using electrical test equipment preferred
Basic knowledge of the tools and equipment used in the fabrication of tooling and components preferred
Familiarity with automation and programming beneficial
Proficiency in the use of Solidworks a plus
