Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 environments
Manage Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), DNS , and core Windows services
Support VMware vSphere infrastructure , including vCenter Server and ESXi hosts
Oversee virtual machine lifecycle management, performance tuning, and availability
Apply and maintain DoD STIGs for Windows and VMware systems
Perform vulnerability scanning and remediation using ACAS / Nessus
Manage server patching and updates using WSUS or enterprise patching tools
Develop and maintain PowerShell automation for administrative and security tasks
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues
Collaborate with cybersecurity and network teams to ensure secure, compliant operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical field OR 5+ years of equivalent professional experience
Proven experience administering Windows Server environments
Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere / vCenter
Experience supporting systems in DoD or classified environments
Active Secret or Top Secret clearance
IAT Level II certification, one of the following: Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security, GSEC, GICSP, SSCP
Preferred
Advanced certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP), MCSE: Core Infrastructure, or CISSP
Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
In-depth knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies, RMF, and STIG implementation
Experience with enterprise backup and storage solutions
