Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines
Build intuitive, responsive, and performant frontend applications
Rapidly spin up prototypes that explore the commercial viability of capabilities invented by Adobe research teams
Cross-functionality work with research, design, platform, security, engineering, product, and leadership teams to quickly and reliably deliver breakthrough innovations to customers
Own prototypes, products, and features end-to-end, from conception and design through deployment and monitoring
Qualification
Required
Expert proficiency in Python for backend systems and JavaScript for backend and frontend development, using modern frameworks to build, ship, and maintain reliable, high-quality software
Strong understanding of large language models and diffusion models, including training and inference trade-offs, with the ability to apply that knowledge to practical, scalable, customer-facing products
Experience working in lean, high-velocity product teams, taking ownership of features from initial concept and lightweight prototyping through delivery, with a clear focus on customer value
Clear and effective communicator and collaborator, able to work closely with product, design, and engineering partners to deliver impactful solutions
Comfortable with asynchronous work across a distributed team
Preferred
Experience training and/or fine-tuning generative AI models
Experience with other programming languages such as C++
Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud applications
