Performing a variety of administrative functions during New York State’s summer season and beyond
Assist CEH district office environmental health staff by performing a variety of critical administrative support functions
Answering office telephones
Triaging calls
Sorting and distributing mail
Filing documents
Maintaining office file systems
Performing data entry
Qualification
Preferred
The preferred candidate will be interested in exploring a career in public/environmental health
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Effective problem solving skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other computer programs as needed
