Responsibilities
Communicating with subject matter experts at all Seagate worldwide sites
Evaluating new trends in cybersecurity and emerging algorithms and protocols
Developing and analyzing new security technology
Providing guidance for future Seagate products
Producing technical reports, filing patents, and presenting results
Qualification
Required
Research/Publication record in cryptography, systems security, or a related field is a plus, especially with connections to side-channel security, cryptography, confidential computation, and privacy-preserving machine learning
Programming experience (e.g., Rust, C/C++, Python)
PhD or equivalent education and experience in the field of Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
