Responsibilities
Analyzing and interpreting complex data sets
Developing models to support various business initiatives
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather, clarify, and document business requirements for analytics and data initiatives
Translate business requirements into detailed data specifications, ensuring alignment with data models and analytical deliverables
Create and maintain Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documents based on data models provided by the modeling team, defining data lineage and transformation logic
Work closely with data modelers and engineering teams to validate mappings, resolve discrepancies, and improve data accuracy across systems
Develop, optimize, and validate SQL queries to support data ingestion and transformation processes from raw to silver layers
Perform data profiling, quality checks, and validation to ensure completeness, consistency, and reliability of ingested datasets
Support ETL/ELT pipeline development by providing logic, specifications, and transformation rules derived from STTMs
Prepare documentation, dashboards, and analysis summaries to help business stakeholders interpret data outputs and make informed decisions
Qualification
Required
High level of technical knowledge in data analysis
Experience working with business area and technology representatives
Ability to formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on user needs
Understanding of business system requirements
Experience analyzing and interpreting complex data sets
Ability to develop models to support various business initiatives
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency
Solid understanding of statistical methods
Proficiency in programming languages like SQL and Python
Experience with data visualization tools
Strong analytical curiosity and problem-solving skills
Ability to tackle both structured and unstructured business challenges
Experience collaborating with cross-functional subject matter experts (SMEs)
Ability to gather, clarify, and document business requirements for analytics and data initiatives
Ability to translate business requirements into detailed data specifications
Experience creating and maintaining Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documents
