Responsibilities
Develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and design for software systems, automated hardware systems, and industrial robotics
Develop and maintain code and integrate software components into a fully functional software system
Perform engineer activities including development, integration, and testing of automated hardware systems
Influence, innovate and continuously improve the engineering processes as well as the quality, safety and reliability of our products and services
Collaborate proactively with customers, stakeholders, and peers to understand operational and performance expectations
Support agile project management, project estimation, and planning
Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn and work with new technologies
Cultivate a positive team culture
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
3+ years of industry experience in aerospace or large-scale manufacturing
Programming experience with at least one software programming language
Preferred
9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience leading cross-functional technical projects in complex organizations; proficiency with project planning, tracking tools, and risk management
Ability to translate user needs into requirements, manage roadmaps, and balance competing priorities between technical depth and delivery
Experience with 3D modeling
Experience with aerospace manufacturing processes
Experience with design of software systems and integration with multiple data sources
Experience with manufacturing assembly knowledge, GD&T, process engineering, drilling and fastening, metrology, linear algebra, geometry, numerical methods, 3D geometry, and computational methods
Experience with database development, C# ASP.NET CORE MVC, C# ASP.NET CORE Blazor, software development best practices, clean code, Python, C++, Linux and Cloud Development, .NET Core framework, C# ASP.NET CORE MVC
Demonstrated understanding of structural analysis and stress engineering principles, including application of Finite Element Methods (FEM) for complex assemblies
Hands-on experience with ABAQUS for simulation and analysis of mechanical systems, including nonlinear and dynamic analyses
Proficiency in 3DCS for tolerance analysis and variation simulation in manufacturing environments
Familiarity with Compro for composite process modeling and simulation, supporting advanced production techniques
Ability to interpret and apply results from structural simulations to inform design decisions and manufacturing processes
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation results into production and quality assurance workflows
Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize manufacturing systems using advanced simulation tools
Knowledge of stress and structural requirements for aerospace components, including load path analysis and material behavior under operational conditions
