Inventory Associate I
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is one of the largest agencies in the state, focused on ensuring the health and well-being of North Carolinians. They are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Associate I to manage inventory, unload deliveries, and prepare schedules for supply delivery across campus.

Responsibilities
Keep Things Moving: Unload trucks, receive and inspect deliveries, and make sure everything gets where it needs to go—on time and in perfect condition
Stay Organized: Oversee inventory, track stock levels, and help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment
Deliver with Care: Prepare delivery schedules, deliver supplies across campus, and provide friendly, reliable service to all campus departments
Work with Tech: Use computers, Microsoft Office, Excel, and inventory systems like NCFS and ordering systems like E-Procurement
Be a Team Player: Assist with paperwork, reconcile orders, and step in for special tasks like campus mail runs or offsite bank visits when needed
Qualification
Required
High School or General Education Development (GED) diploma and two years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong basic math skills and clear communication skills
Ability to organize, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Problem-solving skills for unexpected situations
Preferred
At least 1 year of experience using electronic inventory systems
Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks
Familiarity with creating vendor orders and performing regular inventory counts
