Responsibilities

Coaching and personal development of team members
Identify, secure and develop strategic business partners and multipliers, including independent rep organizations, distributors/dealers, etc, including initial and follow up visits with partners to promote activities and drive sales
Coordinate with other internal partners to ensure customer satisfaction with RATIONAL equipment for elevated customer service issues
Participate in or assist partners with regional trade shows and events
Monitor and report to executive management on sales team and partner issues based on activity data from CRM software
Plan and record activities for all open business opportunities in CRM software
Coaching and development of sales team on RCL performance and progress
Will direct activities of 4-8 regional sales managers

Required

Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building capability
Ability to work in cross functional, team oriented, and results driven organization
Ability to work within a structured sales process
Self starter, detail oriented and able to work independently
5 - 7 years of previous sales, sales management or business development experience
2 - 3 years supervisory experience
Previous culinary experience or strong interest in cooking
Experience with small chain or national account management
Skilled in the presentation of technically sophisticated manufactured goods
Excellent computer skills (Outlook, SIEBEL (or other CRM system), Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Map Point, Salesforce)
Bachelor's degree in business and/or marketing preferred
