Mid LevelNeptune IT Solutions LLC is seeking a Business Analyst who will play a critical role in the early stages of initiative delivery. The BA will focus on workflow mapping and translating complex business rules into clear functional and technical requirements, collaborating closely with business stakeholders and delivery teams.

Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end workflow mapping during discovery and early delivery phases
Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and business rules (e.g., FNOL scenarios, validations, decision logic)
Translate business processes into functional requirements suitable for APIs, events, and saga-based workflows
Collaborate with Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, and Delivery Managers to ensure accurate solution design
Define API-level requirements, including inputs, outputs, validations, and error handling
Support saga orchestration design by documenting states, transitions, exceptions, and compensating actions
Create and maintain process flows, sequence diagrams, and requirement artifacts
Support backlog creation and refinement (epics, features, user stories) during early execution
Validate solutions against business intent during early development and testing phases
Gradually reduce involvement as workflows stabilize and execution becomes predictable
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in complex enterprise environments
Strong expertise in workflow mapping and business process modeling
Experience translating business rules into technical requirements
Understanding of API-driven and event-based architectures
Familiarity with saga patterns, orchestration, and distributed workflows
Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
Ability to clearly communicate between business and technical teams
Preferred
Experience in insurance domains, especially FNOL or claims processing
Experience working with microservices, APIs, and event-driven systems
Familiarity with Agile / SAFe delivery models
Experience supporting InnoLabs or innovation-led initiatives
