Senior Account Director, Marketing & Communications

Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic account, client service and strategy expert across the agency, lending expertise and support to accounts across the organization for integrated, B2B marketing, communications and PR work
Own select client relationships as the key account leader and point of contact, providing strategy, guidance and overall account service to drive profitability and growth for both client business and agency footprint
Play a critical role in chasing, pitching and signing new business, primarily within B2B technology companies
Manage a team of up to five direct reports, guiding performance management, hiring, coaching, feedback and operational needs for those reports and the dotted-line reports below them
Work across the agency leadership team to provide account, strategic, operational and industry expertise that drives agency growth, profitability and expansion within current and prospective accounts

Required

10+ years of agency accounts experience with a track record of organizational and people leadership
B2B SaaS and technology industry expertise
Integrated agency backgrounds across PR, communications and digital
A minimum of 10+ years of experience in agency accounts work, with ample experience as an AD or similar leading teams of direct reports and tactically managing large client relationships
5+ years of experience managing teams of direct reports and guiding a matrixed reporting structure
Deep knowledge of B2B SaaS and technology clients and expertise across integrated communications, marketing and strategy services
Track record of account growth and profitability with a deep level of comfort working with senior-level executive stakeholders
Top-tier pitching and presentation skills
Passion for driving growth, collaboration and clarity in all client and stakeholder interactions
