Entry-Level Electromagnetic Effects Test, Analysis, and Design Engineer

The Boeing Company is seeking an Entry-Level Electromagnetic Effects Test, Analysis, and Design Engineer in Oklahoma City, OK. Responsibilities

Assists in developing and documenting requirements for various communication, sensor, electronic warfare, and other electromagnetic systems and components
Performs basic analysis to predict component performance to established requirements
Conducts simple tests to validate performance of designs to requirements
Collects data on supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance to requirements
Provides support to products throughout their lifecycle
Supports project management by gathering project status data
Gathers information to support development of sections of proposals to support development of new business
Works under close supervision

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
Familiar with the Electromagnetic concepts (such as RF isolation, shielding, grounding, and filtering)
Willing to travel up to 25% of the time as required

Preferred

2 or more years' related work experience (Career Level)
An ABET accredited Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a Master's/PhD in Electrical Engineering
Active U.S. Security Clearance
International Association for Radio, Telecommunications and Electromagnetics (iNARTE) Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Engineer Certification
Previous experience in the defense or aerospace industry
Previous experience of MIL-STD-461/464 and/or DO-160 EMI/EMC
Previous experience in TEMPEST analysis, test, and requirements development
Knowledge of digital signal processing
Knowledge and experience generating Power Quality test procedures and test reports
Hands-on experience with MATLAB
Familiarity with Software tools: LTSpice, System Vision, PSPICE, MathCAD, AutoCAD, and Mentor DX Designer and Expedition
Experience with MS Office tool suite
Experience developing and delivering presentations (verbal and/or written) to key stakeholders
