Responsibilities
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, resolving accounts receivable-related issues and concerns
Prepare and distribute invoices and account statements, ensuring timely follow-up for payments
Assist in reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company procedures
Update and maintain customer account information, keeping records organized and up-to-date
Collaborate with internal departments to address discrepancies in billing and payment processing
Perform cash collections and apply payments to appropriate accounts
Support commercial collections efforts to manage outstanding balances effectively
Handle billing functions with precision, ensuring adherence to company policies
Carry out additional administrative tasks related to accounts receivable as assigned
Qualification
Required
Previous experience in accounts receivable, billing, or related roles
Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when managing financial data
Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines in a collaborative environment
Familiarity with cash applications and commercial collections processes
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
Additional education in accounting or finance is desirable
