Responsibilities
Strong engineering mindset with a focus on code, pipeline, and query optimization
5+ years of hands-on experience using SQL with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake strongly preferred)
Advanced proficiency in Python (R acceptable but Python preferred)
Experience optimizing SQL queries and data models for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
Hands-on experience with production data pipelines and orchestration tools (dbt, Airflow, or similar)
Experience engineering and maintaining data solutions using Databricks, Spark, S3, or equivalent platforms
Solid foundation in statistical modeling and machine learning, including: Time-series forecasting, Regression and causal inference, Clustering, decision trees, or similar techniques
Proven ability to work independently, solve open-ended technical problems, and optimize existing systems without guidance
Experience with analytics and visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Jupyter
Familiarity with QA frameworks for data and model validation
Experience supporting forecasting, optimization, or decision-science use cases

STEM degree required
