College Intern - Ohio State Highway Patrol Central Records Unit

The Ohio Department of Public Safety is seeking a College Intern for the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The selected candidate will assist with various administrative tasks and gain exposure to law enforcement operations while working approximately 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Assist with processing of mail
Prep, scan and index reports
Convert old cases from microfilm and digital
Assist with monthly retention of reports
Assist with special projects
Opportunity to learn about law enforcement operations including tours, ride-a-longs, etc
The duties are primarily administrative with exposure to general operations of a large law enforcement agency

Required

Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university
In good standing with the college/university
Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0
Enrolled in at least one course
