Data Analyst-Suicide IOP Program

Responsibilities

Works with unit staff to obtain clinical data
Inputs and performs analysis of the data
Develops and produces routine and ad hoc reports (including posters and support for publications) that support the operational, clinical and research goals of the department
Designs, develops, and maintains a research database to include both electronic and paper data collection
Assures that data is entered correctly in a timely manner
Collaborates with IT and CMCD Research Department to access CMCD databases
Provides support in obtaining IRB approval and maintaining regulatory research compliance
Works with staff to develop posters and contributes to staff publications by providing data analysis and technical support
Contacts patients for follow up data

Qualification

Statistical conceptsData entryData managementSPSSProfessional phone etiquette

Required

Less than 1 year - Minimum 6 months job related experience required
Familiarity with statistical concepts applicable to the clinical and/or research setting required

Preferred

Experience with data entry, excel, and data management highly preferred
Experience working statistical software such as SPSS preferred
Professional phone etiquette skills highly preferred
Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
