Responsibilities
Lead a robust month‑end close, cash‑flow management, and financial reporting process
Partner closely with the owner as a trusted advisor on financial operations
Provide real‑time financial insights that support decision‑making and business prioritization
Build and enhance reporting tools using advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and custom financial models)
Drive process improvement to streamline, modernize, and professionalize the finance function
Contribute to risk management, internal controls, and workflow optimization
Work hands‑on across multiple business lines in a small‑company environment
Utilize Dynamics 365 Business Central (or learn quickly if new to the system)
Qualification
Required
Strong month‑end close, cash‑flow, and financial reporting experience (multi‑entity a plus)
Advanced Excel skills comfortable building new reports, models, and data tools
Ability to thrive in a small‑business, on‑site environment with hands‑on work
Direct, practical communicator who works well with straightforward, results‑driven leadership
Interest in taking ownership and stepping into a broader strategic role over time
