Responsibilities
Manage month-end close procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting
Prepare and review journal entries to maintain integrity in the general ledger
Conduct account and bank reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues effectively
Oversee fixed asset accounting activities, including disposals and depreciation calculations
Support project accounting efforts by tracking expenditures and ensuring proper budget alignment
Assist with audit preparation and collaborate on external audit processes to ensure compliance
Contribute to lease accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records
Generate investor reports and provide insights into financial performance
Utilize tools like NetSuite, Workiva, and Excel to streamline accounting operations
Participate in general accounting duties as needed to support the finance team
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in month-end close processes and general ledger maintenance
Strong proficiency in preparing journal entries and performing reconciliations
Solid understanding of fixed asset accounting and related disposals
Familiarity with external audit workpapers and annual audit processes
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting
Preferred
Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite and Workiva is preferred
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including functions and data analysis
Knowledge of lease and project accounting principles
