Responsibilities

Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner to ensure proper payment schedules
Perform coding of invoices according to established procedures and guidelines
Handle check runs, including preparation and distribution, while maintaining compliance with company policies
Ensure all accounts payable transactions are properly documented and recorded
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth financial operations
Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and related documents
Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement within the accounts payable function
Support additional financial projects as required by management

Required

Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role
Proficiency in coding invoices and handling check runs
Strong knowledge of invoice processing procedures
Familiarity with accounting systems and software
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication skills for interacting with internal teams and vendors
