Responsibilities

Lead adoption of digital engineering for software engineering, working closely with the software ELB
Lead MBE CG initiative software development and delivery, including budget, schedule, and staffing
Mentor other software engineers to rotate into this role after your rotation finishes

Qualification

Required

12+ years of software development experience
Experience leading a software engineering team
Experience as software or data architect
Experience working in a dynamic and agile environment

Preferred

16+ years of software development experience
8+ years of software development at BAE Systems
Experience as a data engineer
Experience as a software engineer developing middleware
Knowledge of DevSecOps and software pipelines
Knowledge of Cloud Computing and Virtualization technologies
Experience in embedded software and test software development methods
Diverse software experience: small and large projects, full lifecycle, multiple business areas
