Responsibilities
Lead restoration projects through every phase—from opportunity development to construction close-out
Develop project schedules, build and manage budgets, lead cross-functional team meetings, and ensure regulatory compliance
Work independently to resolve project challenges, mitigate risks, and keep stakeholders informed
Coordinate subcontractors, inspect active sites, or conduct team check-ins in the field
Review technical documents, prepare financial reports, and communicate updates with clients and regulators
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in applied sciences, environmental engineering, construction management, or a related field—or equivalent experience
At least 6 years of experience in engineering, construction, or environmental project work
3+ years of direct project management experience, including ownership of scope, schedule, and budget
Proficiency with project management tools, such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent
Knowledge of environmental permitting and compliance
Experience managing subcontractors, consultants, and vendors
Ability to lead complex projects independently, with limited supervision
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills
Comfort working in field settings, construction zones, and regulatory environments
Preferred
PMP certification, PE/PG license, or relevant advanced degree
Experience managing ecological restoration, mitigation banking, or conservation projects
Ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams and mentor junior PMs or technical staff
Experience with complex stakeholder coordination, including regulators, clients, and contractors
