Responsibilities
Administers, supervises and coordinates all peri-operative services
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the surgical services for the organization
Responsible for budgeting; employee supervision; planning and directing work of employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems within and between departments, continually collaborating with providers
This is a working Manager position; 2 ORs; ~ 12 employees (circulators, Pre/PACU, scrub techs, SPD, surgery scheduler); approximately 50 cases/month; reports to the CNO
Qualification
Required
A minimum of five (5) years' experience in peri-operative and/or in a healthcare/clinical background required
Previous surgical services management experience is required
BLS for non-clinical/licensed managers is required
ACLS is required for clinical/degreed managers
