Responsibilities
Provide expert-level support for the full lifecycle of federal grants and cooperative agreements
Conduct pre-award activities including budget analysis, risk assessments, and drafting terms and conditions
Manage post-award functions such as monitoring performance, processing amendments, and initiating closeouts
Interpret and apply federal regulations including 2 CFR 200 and the DOT Guide to Financial Assistance
Advise program managers and leadership on complex grants management issues
Troubleshoot and resolve challenges across pre-award, award, and post-award phases
Use systems like ESC PRISM and GrantSolutions for grants processing and tracking
Provide technical assistance and training to program staff and recipients
Write and edit grant analysis documents and brief government officials
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, policies, and procedures throughout the grant lifecycle
Qualification
Required
Minimum 6 years in federal grants/acquisition
Experience with support across full grant lifecycle
Experience with policy interpretation and technical consultation
Preferred
Experience with 2 CFR 200, ESC PRISM, GrantSolutions
