Responsibilities
Lead research and development projects of image sensor and camera electronics technologies to advance KLA’s product roadmap
Work with strategic vendors to develop next-generation image sensor technologies
Design high-speed, low-noise PCBs for image sensor readout and camera digital image acquisition
Develop experimental test setups for image sensor and camera prototypes electrical and optical characterization
Design and run experiments, analyze and present data with concrete conclusions; solve technical problems by applying problem solving techniques
Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with other team members and product divisions to solve complex sensor and camera electronics challenges
Qualification
Required
Experience in design and simulation of analog and digital electronic circuits relevant to image sensor readout and data acquisition
Experience with high-speed, low-noise PCB design
Hands-on laboratory experience in building and operating experimental test setups for image sensor and camera characterization
Experience in Python, C/C++, and LabView for test automation development
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
Doctorate (Academic) Degree with at least 5 years of experience
Preferred
Experience in CCD/CMOS image sensors and camera systems
Experience with innovative FPGA design and firmware programming
Experience in digital image processing techniques and statistical data analysis
