Hello Gravel is a venture-backed marketplace transforming the gravel and landscaping materials industry by building the easiest and cheapest way to buy materials online. They are seeking a hands-on marketing leader to scale revenue while driving down customer acquisition costs, managing the entire marketing engine including brand, performance, and profitability.

Responsibilities
Own the full marketing stack: online + offline
Set strategy across brand, performance, and profitability
Be accountable for CAC, revenue growth, conversion, and repeat purchase
Own the full funnel: traffic → conversion → repeat
Personally execute early on (paid media, CRO, lifecycle, creators)
Partner closely with product, engineering, and ops
Shape Hello Gravel’s brand and narrative
Use storytelling to differentiate in a legacy industry
Understand how brand and performance reinforce each other
Own paid media and agency relationships
Decide what to scale, pause, and test
Experiment with upper-funnel and offline channels (direct mail, CTV, local, etc.)
Manage agencies and contractors
Hire and lead direct reports as the team grows
Build repeatable systems and reporting
Qualification
Required
Have driven growth at a $5-10M+ revenue company
Have executed across multiple marketing channels yourself
Understand both brand marketing and performance marketing
Are comfortable getting into the weeds and setting strategy
Thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
