Responsibilities
Oversee accounting operations for multiple non-profit entities
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 5–6 accounting professionals
Ensure accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness across all entities
Review financials and accounting work product prepared by the team
Partner with senior leadership and participate in management meetings
Provide guidance, structure, and oversight rather than hands-on processing
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in non-profit and fund accounting
Managerial experience with 2+ direct reports
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to operate in a hybrid environment with an initial onsite presence
Calm, professional, and collaborative management style
Preferred
MIP accounting software
QuickBooks
Strong Excel skills
