Senior LevelCrowdPlat is seeking an experienced Senior Application Security Architect to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise-grade security solutions with a strong emphasis on application security and DevSecOps. This role involves partnering closely with software engineering teams to embed security into the full SDLC, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant solutions across various environments.

Responsibilities
Define and implement application security architecture aligned with enterprise and industry best practices
Partner with software development and DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
Design, implement, and test security controls across:
Applications and APIs
On-prem, DR, and cloud environments
Develop and maintain security standards, policies, and procedures
Architect and support:
LAN, WAN, VPN, firewall, router, and network security solutions
Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), certificate authorities, and digital signatures
Evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend improvements
Conduct security design reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments
Mentor and guide security and engineering team members
Provide technical leadership and act as a subject-matter expert for application security initiatives
Qualification
Required
Senior-level experience as a Security Architect, Application Security Architect, or DevSecOps Engineer
Strong background in application security and secure software development
Proven experience supporting and collaborating with software engineering teams
Hands-on knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD security
Network security technologies and protocols
Firewalls, VPNs, routers, and related infrastructure
Experience designing security for on-prem and cloud environments
Solid understanding of PKI, certificates, encryption, and identity management
Security frameworks, policies, and compliance standards
Strong decision-making, communication, and mentoring skills
Preferred
Cloud security architecture experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience with application security tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets management)
Background in enterprise or large-scale environments
Ability to translate security requirements into developer-friendly solutions
