Responsibilities
Function as the lead engineer on multiple robotics platform projects, including panel cleaning, panel and system inspection, and vegetation management
Provide expertise in evaluating off the shelf solutions that may be adapted or modified for various project and technical needs
Coordinate with other engineering, construction, and maintenance teams to define project and equipment requirements, timelines, and objectives
Prepare detailed system designs as needed to meet project objectives and fulfill initiatives
Stay current with industry standards and regulations related to site needs
Develop and oversee test programs to validate concepts and designs both in the lab and in the field
Support other engineering-related tasks and duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Robotics Engineering
Proven track record of robotics development and design engineering capabilities
Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams
Proficient in Solidworks with ability to create component and assembly models and drawings
Experience with Microcontrollers, ROS, Arduino or similar controllers and coding language for typical mechatronic applications
Experience with AI and Machine Learning in Mechatronic applications
Comfortable working in a high paced startup environment
Computer and Workplace software proficiency
Preferred
Renewable Energy experience
