Part-Time Human Resources Coordinator
Indiana University is seeking a qualified, detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to provide part-time administrative and operational support to the Regional Human Resources team. This role is critical in ensuring efficient delivery of HR services and supporting a positive employee experience across the region.

Responsibilities
Provides administrative support to the Regional HR team, including preparing documents, correspondence, and processing transactions
Assists with planning and coordination of HR-sponsored events, meetings, and trainings
Manages calendaring functions, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and regional HR activities
Supports the onboarding process by assisting with new hire orientations and preparing associated materials
Processes and maintains I-9 documentation in accordance with federal regulations and institutional policies
Coordinates travel arrangements for HR team members and support travel reconciliation
Prepares and disseminates departmental communications as directed
Generates and compiles ad hoc reports to support HR operations and decision-making
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrates administrative experience in a professional office environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in standard office software and systems (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, calendar management tools)
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in document preparation and data entry
Ability to maintain a high standard of confidentiality with discretion
Customer service oriented approach and ability to work effectively with a wide variety individuals and teams
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience working in a human resources environment, preferably within higher education
Familiarity with HRIS systems and electronic I-9 processing
Experience supporting event coordination and/or onboarding processes
Knowledge of basic HR practices, federal employment regulations, and institutional policies
