Responsibilities
Core Development: 8+ years of expert-level programming in C and C++ across both Linux user space and kernel space
WiFi Domain: Implement and tune wireless networking features including Access Points (AP), Band Steering, Channel Selection, and Single SSID architectures
Open Source Frameworks: Hands-on development of features specifically for OpenWRT and PRPL platforms
Kernel Engineering: 8+ years of Linux kernel development, focusing on performance tuning and driver-level troubleshooting
Network Stack: Deep technical knowledge of Multicast, DHCP, MAP-T, IPv4, and IPv6 protocol implementation and debugging
Build Systems: Experience standing up cross-compilers and build environments for bootstrapping development; proficient in creating Opkg or RPM packages
Automation: Strong scripting skills in Python, Groovy, and BusyBox (ash) to streamline development and testing workflows
Performance Tuning: Identify system performance indicators and implement corrective actions to meet high-throughput goals
Debugging: Utilize advanced troubleshooting skills to resolve complex issues in distributed networking environments
