Payroll and Benefits Manager
Beacon Hill is a growing organization seeking a Payroll & Benefits Manager to lead payroll, benefits, and 401(k) administration across multiple entities. This role ensures accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processes while serving as a trusted resource for employees and leadership.

Responsibilities
Oversee end‑to‑end payroll processing across multiple entities and payroll cycles
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and wage laws
Manage tax withholdings, garnishments, supplemental pay, and year‑end reporting (W‑2, ACA)
Maintain accurate employee classifications, timekeeping, and payroll records
Administer benefits programs and lead annual Open Enrollment
Manage 401(k) contributions, audits, compliance testing, and employer matching
Partner with vendors to maintain payroll and benefits systems and integrations
Facilitate payroll and benefits audits and implement process improvements
Serve as the primary payroll and benefits resource for employees
Qualification
Required
5-10+ years of payroll administration experience
Deep knowledge of payroll compliance, taxes, and wage regulations
Strong experience with payroll systems (Paylocity preferred) and MS Excel
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage sensitive data with discretion
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, HR, Business, or related field
