Responsibilities
Lead a large-scale Workday optimization program, beginning with HR and expanding into Finance
Drive end-to-end project execution across Recruit-to-Hire and Procure-to-Pay processes
Partner closely with IT leadership, HR leadership, Finance stakeholders, and the CIO
Manage timelines, risks, dependencies, and issue escalation in a high-pressure environment
Navigate and lead difficult conversations related to change management and prioritization
Establish and maintain project governance, cadence, and reporting
Coordinate with internal HR and Finance teams and external partners, including Workday SuccessPlans
Provide “white glove” stakeholder communication and executive-level updates
Qualification
Required
Senior-level Project Management experience (enterprise-scale initiatives)
Experience leading ERP or Workday-related programs, particularly post–go-live optimization efforts
Strong understanding of Workday functionality and lifecycle (hands-on configuration not required)
Proven ability to work directly with executive leadership (CIO, directors, department heads)
Excellent change management, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable working under tight deadlines and high visibility
Ability to bring structure to ambiguous or fast-moving initiatives
Preferred
Experience in higher education or public-sector environments
Background supporting both HR and Finance system initiatives
Prior experience working with Workday SuccessPlans or similar vendor support models
