Responsibilities
Drive close partnership with segment finance and business teams on planning, forecasts, and monthly reporting activities
Coordinate monthly financial reporting and variance driver analysis that provide leadership with explanations on variances to budget, trend, and year over year growth
Support external reporting of non-GAAP financial information to investors and other stakeholders
Help to coordinate the annual budget and monthly re-forecasting process
Provide timely and accurate information for a variety of cross-functional teams including Accounting, HR, Legal, etc
Support the management team with ad hoc reporting requests and special projects, including acquisitions, profitability analysis, process improvement projects, strategic analysis, and others
Pilot and learn new software as we take our reporting to the cloud using BI visualizations
Qualification
Required
1+ years of experience in a finance or accounting role
Advanced knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Excel including business and financial modeling
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Superior critical thinking skills, including the ability to identify trends within raw data
Experience in the use of analytical tools and methodologies, including creation of spreadsheet-based reports, tools and analysis
Excellent organizational skills and experience improving existing processes
Ability to manage multiple projects on concurrent basis by demonstrating ability to meet deadlines
Ability to research and analyze data, and convert data into business insights
Must be flexible and have the ability to adapt to a changing environment
A positive attitude and a desire to drive process improvement
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred
Experience with SmartView (Oracle Essbase) a plus
