Business Development Representative
Steelhead Technologies is transforming how job shops run their business with their end-to-end ERP platform. The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for engaging prospective customers, qualifying leads, and booking meetings to drive sales growth.
Responsibilities
Prospect and engage job shop manufacturers through outbound calls, emails, and social channels
Qualify leads and set meetings for the sales team
Build relationships through consistent, value-driven follow-up
Run discovery calls to uncover prospect pain points — in English and Spanish
Keep CRM records clean and accurate
Hit and exceed weekly and monthly outreach goals
Qualification
Required
0–2 years of experience in sales or business development (SaaS or manufacturing a plus)
Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
Comfortable running outreach, live calls, and discovery conversations in Spanish without assistance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Resilient, motivated, and comfortable working in a high-activity environment
Strong cold calling mindset — not afraid to pick up the phone
Preferred
Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
