Quality Systems Compliance Principal Specialist
RTX is a leading aerospace company seeking a highly organized and proactive Principal Specialist in Quality System Compliance. This role involves leading certifications for the Windsor Locks Repair Station and overseeing internal and external Quality Management System audits to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain robust quality standards.

Responsibilities
Maintain all six Repair Station certifications, including AS9110 (QMS), FAA (U.S.), EASA (Europe), CAAC (China), UK CAA (United Kingdom), GCAA (Emirates), and other relevant certifications. Responsibilities include submitting annual reports and updating regulatory manuals and procedures
Perform all internal audits—product, process, and QMS—including approximately 85 audits per year
Host Customer, Regulatory, DCMA (government agency), and Central Quality audits
Act as the liaison between the DCMA, FAA, and the repair station
Provide technical support to internal and external customers regarding Quality Management System procedures, regulations, and compliance-related inquiries
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the QMS
Perform Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities for quality compliance issues within the repair station, as well as for findings issued to the Quality department
Assist the Quality department with miscellaneous projects and tasks
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Preferred
Demonstrated experience hosting customer, regulatory, and QMS audits
Proficiency with SAP
Strong background in driving process improvements and enhancing Quality Management System (QMS) effectiveness
Proven ability to identify gaps, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives
Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
