Responsibilities

Review submitted requests/test plans for accuracy and new requirements

Coordinate testing and part movement between off-site locations

Review test setups and develop setups for new products

Provide training and leadership for less experienced technicians

Assist with test execution as needed

Acquire/analyze accelerometer data

Review completed test documentation for accuracy

Maintain lab organization for cleanliness and safety

Support general equipment repair and maintenance

Follow company policies and housekeeping

Qualification

Engineering test experienceAutomotive experienceGeneral electrical aptitudeGeneral mechanical aptitudeBasic computer skillsLeadership skillsCommunication skills

Required

High School Diploma or GED required

General electrical and mechanical aptitude

Basic computer skills – Microsoft office

Self-motivated and detail oriented

Ability to work overtime or come in during off shifts to check on tests if necessary

Ability to travel to other work locations if needed for any training or required program meetings if unable to attend virtually

Preferred

Associates Degree in Engineering field

Engineering test experience
