Responsibilities
Lead and support quality inspectors and technicians on the shop floor
Oversee quality inspections of conveyor systems, material handling equipment, and mechanical assemblies
Ensure compliance with quality standards, procedures, and work instructions
Conduct audits, root cause analyses (RCA), and implement CAPA
Partner with production, engineering, and installation teams to resolve quality issues
Review mechanical drawings, layouts, and installation documentation
Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Train and coach team members on quality tools and best practices
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in Quality within manufacturing, automation, or industrial environments
Hands-on experience with conveyor systems or material handling equipment
Knowledge of ISO standards, audits, and quality documentation
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable in fast-paced environments
Preferred
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
