Senior LevelCrowdPlat is seeking a Senior AI / Machine Learning Solutions Architect to design and deploy cloud-based AI solutions for public safety datasets. The role focuses on creating a natural-language query interface and implementing AI/ML solutions to enhance data discovery and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Design and implement AI/ML solutions that enhance data discovery, decision-making, and operational efficiency
Build a natural-language query interface enabling users to search law-enforcement datasets without SQL knowledge
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify use cases, gather requirements, and translate them into AI-powered applications
Extract data from on-prem Oracle and SQL Server databases and migrate to AWS cloud environments
Clean, transform, and mask sensitive data (CJIS, PII, etc.) to meet security and compliance requirements
Store and optimize data for AI/ML workloads, including vector databases (e.g., Pinecone)
Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures using AWS Bedrock
Integrate industry-standard AI models such as Claude or AWS Titan/Nova
Design solutions that support:
Current search datasets (People, Identifiers, Incidents/Offenses)
Future predictive analytics using Records Management System (RMS) data
Deploy, validate, and optimize models for performance, scalability, and security
Stay current with AI/ML research, tools, and cloud services to drive continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Senior-level experience as an AI Specialist, AI Engineer, ML Engineer, or AI Solutions Architect
Strong hands-on experience designing and deploying AI/ML solutions in AWS
2–3+ years of experience with public safety systems, such as CAD (Computer-Aided Dispatch), RMS (Records Management Systems), FRMS or similar law-enforcement platforms
Deep understanding of public safety datasets and their relationships
Experience with data ingestion, transformation, and masking for sensitive data (CJIS, PII)
Strong programming skills in Python (R a plus)
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Preferred
Machine learning frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn
Big data & analytics: Apache Spark, Databricks
AI/ML development tools: Jupyter Notebooks, SageMaker
Cloud platforms: AWS (S3, EC2, SageMaker, Bedrock), Azure ML / Databricks (nice to have)
Vector databases (Pinecone or equivalent)
Data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
Experience with GenAI, LLMs, and RAG architectures
