The Senior Manager for Capital Planning & Financial Operations will manage critical aspects of the Aetna Technology organization's capital investment strategy, including capital budget processes and financial data analysis, while collaborating with various departments to align capital allocation with business objectives.

Responsibilities

Support annual capital planning efforts for teams across Aetna Technology
Perform detailed analysis of capital investments to ensure they align with strategic and financial goals
Develop and evaluate business cases for projects using data & metrics
Lead the development and maintenance of capital planning processes and policies
Collaborate closely with leaders in other departments (i.e., operations, project management, business) to align capital allocation with business objectives
Communicate complex financial information and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels, including senior leadership

Required

7+ years of professional experience in a finance and/or procurement role (e.g., financial analyst, procurement lead)
5+ years of budget planning and management, including capital planning
5+ years of experience leading cross functional projects. Able to drive timelines and workflows
3+ years working with product & development teams
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred

Master's degree
Experience forecasting and setting project allocations in Clarity
