Responsibilities
Consistently grow the practice through expansion of services to existing clients, cross selling with other advisory practices, and obtaining new clients
Execute the Firm and Tax Service Line vision, strategy, and goals for the South Florida tax practice
Ensure discipline around execution of Service Line business processes and Firm business practices for the market
Help manage the utilization and productivity of professionals in the market to achieve operational and financial targets
Utilize leadership skills, acting as a role model, to provide coaching, mentoring, and training in the development professionals within the practice and build a talent pipeline with the requisite technical expertise
Qualification
Required
Active CPA and/or JD license required; MST or LLM is a plus
8+ years of experience as a tax professional working for a Big 4, large national, or regional accounting firm with a demonstrated record of having provided leadership, client service, and business expansion
Experience with developing the strategy and plans to grow a practice through expansion of services to existing clients and obtaining new clients
Exceptional client service skills leading to the highest quality of execution and delivery of client engagements
Demonstrated ability to motivate and empower people and teams
Ability to drive success (results) through the influence
Excellent and enthusiastic ability to build and maintain relationships, engage others, and establish connections
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills
Preferred
Previous service line, market, or industry leadership experience is desirable
Industry experience in Real Estate, Private Equity, Technology/ Life Sciences, Industrials/Consumer Goods, or similar is preferred
International experience is a plus
