Responsibilities

Design embedded processor circuit boards using CAD tools
Work with a team of engineers developing designs based on modeling and simulations
Work with Systems Engineers and other development team members in translating system performance and operational specifications into hardware requirements, design, and test specifications
Help drive projects and execute to program schedules on time and budget
Lead small teams and mentor junior engineers
Demonstrate self-motivation, with little supervision
Support internal and external technical reviews
Support occasional domestic travel and potential international travel

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM discipline
Minimum ten (10) years of professional experience in the design and implementation of mixed signal electronic circuits and systems
Experience implementing high speed memory (DDR) and high speed circuit (ie. PCIE, 100GbE) designs
Signal Integrity analysis skills including experience using tools such as Hyperlynx SI
Experience using Power Integrity analysis tools such as Mentor's Hyperlynx PI
U.S. Citizen - Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Experience leading EE/HW teams of 4 - 6 engineers
Fielding and troubleshooting a variety of systems including custom designed processor and/or FPGA based circuit boards
Embedded system design experience utilizing microprocessors and microcontrollers along with C code based programming
FPGA development or verification skills using SystemVerilog, OVM, or VHDL
Experience with vendor logic synthesis tools (such as Xilinx Vivado)
