Directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in performing chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases
Oversees performance of tests in fields of microbiology, chemistry, histology, hematology, Immunohematology and serology
Qualification
Required
(MLT-State) Medical Lab Technician - State, or (MLS) Medical Laboratory Scientist
Must meet the educational and/or work experience criteria acceptable for technical or general supervisor level certification and recognition by CLIA and GDHR
Technologist Certification as defined by GDHR
Minimum of 5 years as a technologist
Preferred
Previous laboratory supervisory experience
