$50/hr - $100/hrVaco by Highspring is partnering with a nonprofit healthcare company seeking a Fractional Nonprofit Tax Consultant to manage the tax and legal complexities associated with a for-profit subsidiary. The main purpose of this role is to protect the nonprofit status and assets while ensuring compliant operations.

Responsibilities
Design governance/roles and produce SOPs
Draft MSAs and intercompany arrangements, including pricing and documentation standards
Structure and document intercompany loans/working capital support
Establish banking architecture and chart of accounts
Build financial workflows (AP/AR, allocations, UBIT tracking, etc.)
Qualification
Required
BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Strong knowledge of Nonprofit Tax and GAAP Regulations (AZ experience preferred)
Proven ability restructuring a nonprofit with a for-profit subsidiary (nonprofit experience is required)
Self-starter and ability to work independently
Excellent organizational and communication skills
