HR Benefits Analyst
Ascendo Resources is a certified minority-owned staffing firm seeking a detail-driven HR Benefits Analyst to support HR and Benefits operations. The role focuses on data scrubbing, validation, and ensuring the accuracy of employee benefits coverage while collaborating with various teams to resolve data issues.

Responsibilities
Perform data scrubbing, cleansing, and validation across HR and benefits systems
Analyze HR and benefits data to identify discrepancies, trends, and potential coverage issues
Support system integrations and data validation between HR, payroll, and benefits platforms
Ensure benefits coverage accuracy, confirming no lapses or errors in employee enrollments
Generate reports and insights to support HR and benefits decision-making
Complete HR system updates (new hires, salary changes, employee data validation)
Submit and track IT tickets related to HR system updates and access
Partner with HR, Benefits, IT, and Finance teams to resolve data issues efficiently
Assist with audits, reconciliations, and quality checks across HR and benefits data
Escalate data issues or system gaps as needed
Qualification
Required
3–5+ years of experience in benefits, HR data analysis, compensation, or related roles
Hands-on experience with HRIS systems
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive data accurately
Comfortable working in Excel and reporting tools
Preferred
Finance or accounting exposure is a plus
Project-based or short-term role experience preferred
