Inside Sales & Operations Support
LineGear Fire & Rescue Equipment has been serving the fire community for over 20 years, providing trusted wildland PPE and gear. They are seeking an Inside Sales & Operations Support teammate to assist with customer interactions, sales support, and daily operations tasks.
Responsibilities
Respond to inbound calls and emails from departments and CAL FIRE units
Prepare quotes within 24–48 hours
Source products and gather vendor pricing
Assist with bid research, bid documents, and completing bid submissions
Support outside sales with pricing, specifications, and customer information
Maintain CRM notes and follow-up reminders
Track open quotes and ensure timely responses
Enter customer orders and purchase orders
Assist with shipping, packaging, and preparing orders
Help with local deliveries when needed (mileage reimbursed)
Support receiving, labeling, SKU updates, and inventory tasks
Coordinate with warehouse staff and vendors on product availability
Maintain documentation and organized office workflow
Qualification
Required
Strong communicator with good customer service instincts
Organized and dependable
Comfortable multitasking and staying on top of details
Experience in inside sales, administrative support, operations, or logistics
Comfortable with spreadsheets and CRM systems
Preferred
Interest in fire service or PPE is a plus, but not required
