Senior Director of Value Based Care Operations
Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA) is focused on improving cardiovascular care through innovative financial models and care delivery. They are seeking a Senior Director of Value Based Care Operations to manage partnerships and oversee the Value Based Care Clinical team, ensuring operational success and strategic alignment with external partners.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for external partners in value-based care arrangements
Design and manage escalation and collaboration processes between Operators and external partners
Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including health system leaders, payers, and provider groups
Understand strategic partner needs and priorities, identifying opportunities for innovation and collaboration
Direct oversight of the Director of Clinical Services and VBC Market Manger on program operations and ongoing client relationships. Responsible for development, execution and performance oversight of all value-based care initiatives
Coordinate and facilitate Joint Operating Committee (JOC) meetings to ensure alignment on goals, performance, and issue resolution. Own and execute creation and review of JOC meeting materials in collaboration with Medical Economics, Data & Analytics, Operations, and Leadership teams
Responsible for contract performance, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement in collaboration with internal teams. Collaborate with Data & Analytics around contract reporting; collaborate with Operations around metric outlier management
Responsible for clinical team KPIs and success metrics. This leader will direct the clinicians, policies, procedures and execution of the clinical model
Develop scalable processes and ensure regulatory requirements including payor contractual metrics are met
Understand the financial, clinical, and operational drivers of risk-bearing cardiology agreements
Work closely with internal analytics, medical economics, clinical operations, and finance teams to track outcomes, support decision-making, and drive partner satisfaction
Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to optimize performance under existing agreements
Understand strategic partner needs, priorities, and objectives that may be relevant to future contract renewal
Prepare and present performance updates, recommendations, and action plans to both internal leadership and external partners
Ensure timely and transparent communication of risks, challenges, and achievements
Strong verbal and written presentation skills. Able to engage and connect with a broad spectrum of stakeholders across the healthcare landscape
Ability to communicate at both a strategic level and a more granular tactical level
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or clinical degree, Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Associate or a related field
7+ years of experience in healthcare account management, provider relations, or a related field, with experience in value-based care
Experience in value-based care with Medicare Advantage plans required
Proven ability to manage complex partnerships and drive outcomes in risk-bearing arrangements with wrap around virtual care teams
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and build consensus among diverse stakeholders
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Familiarity with specialty value-based care clinical operations and financial modeling
Proven operational excellence with experience leading clinical value based care teams
Experience managing virtual wrap around care teams
Deep experience with building new teams with understanding of clinical ops metrics, performance KPIs and creating successful outcomes with virtual teams
Start up or earlier stage team building
Strong operations and tech savvy (we utilize a lot of tools for day-to-day business ops and care management)
Preferred
Specialty value-based care experience
Resides in FL - not a requirement but prefer east of the MS. Would be willing to flex on this for an amazing candidate
