Responsibilities

Review and handle the activities of data entry and make updates as necessary
Answer questions related to data entry and input, and address non-standard issues
Ensure that new data is captured and uploaded in an accessible form
Maintain a system for capturing critical data, dismissed cases data, data relating to case outcomes, or client demographics
Coach other data entry staff to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of data entry
Review data for errors and inconsistencies and correct them
Help prioritize tasks within specified timeframes and provide guidance on organization and data retrieval approaches
Report any complex data-related problems or discrepancies promptly

Required

Possession of a High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate is required
Two (2) years in data maintenance, data processing, data entry, or directly related experience is required
An equivalent combination of education and/or experience is required
Skill in using Microsoft Office Tools
Ability to use Microsoft Excel to analyze data, including pivot tables and aggregate functions
Ability to apply basic mathematical skills to office bookkeeping and to perform calculations, such as figuring totals, percentages, and extensions
Ability to communicate well with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to pay attention to multifarious detail, proof, verify, and edit complex data, and transcribe and cross-reference data
Ability to follow up in a thorough and timely manner relative to unresolved business
Knowledge of correct language usage, punctuation and grammar, and their proper application to business forms, letters, and technical records
Knowledge of technical, legal, or medical terms and their proper spelling, where applicable
Knowledge of the foundational concepts of structured and unstructured data and the practical application of large data sets
Ability to support peers and lower-level team members by providing basic to complex administrative and clerical support
Skill in performing moderately complex administrative and customer service tasks to identify new approaches to improve efficiencies
Ability to collaborate with team members and entry-level management to provide moderately complex customer service requests and create effective relationships with others
Knowledge of specific organizational policies and procedures to answer moderately complex administrative questions and identify solutions that are often non-standard
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
