Toxic Tort Associate Attorney

Aionios LLC is seeking experienced Associate Attorneys with 2+ years of defense litigation experience to join their growing litigation practice in California. This role involves managing a caseload related to general liability and toxic tort litigation while working closely with senior attorneys and clients in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Manage local and national accounts throughout California
Independently handle a litigation caseload
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
Review and analyze discovery requests and materials
Take and defend depositions
Prepare fact and expert witnesses for deposition and trial
Support trial preparation and courtroom proceedings
Maintain accurate and timely timekeeping records

Qualification

Defense litigation experienceJuris Doctor (JD)California Bar admissionGeneral LiabilityToxic Tort LitigationLegal research skillsAnalytical skillsCase managementWriting skillsOrganizational skills

Required

Minimum 2+ years of defense litigation experience
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active admission to practice in California
Experience with motion practice and depositions
Experience taking the lead in plaintiff and expert depositions
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to manage cases independently and meet deadlines
Highly organized with the ability to multitask efficiently

Preferred

Experience preferred in one or more of the following: General Liability or Product Liability
Complex Litigation, Toxic Tort, or Environmental Liability
