Senior Consultant, Labor Relations
Gundersen Health System is a not-for-profit, patient-centered healthcare network seeking a Senior Consultant in Labor Relations to be a key partner within their Human Resources team. Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive labor relations strategies aligned by our mission, vision, and values
Serve as a lead negotiator in contract negotiations. Use appropriate negotiation strategies to develop bargaining goals and negotiate contracts
Provide guidance to leadership by contract interpretation and perform investigations on informal and formal grievances
Foster positive employee relations by promoting a fair and equitable work environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field
5-7 years human resources, business partner or leader experience
Strong negotiation and mediation skills
Excellent knowledge of labor laws and regulations
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships
Strong organization and time management skills
Preferred
2-3 years demonstrated labor relations experience preferred
