Responsibilities

Handle inbound and outbound calls related to pharmacy services
Schedule medication delivery and payment to ensure accurate customer profiles
Respond to customer inquiries or route calls appropriately for prompt resolution
Demonstrate empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients
Run medical claims and update concise progress notes
Provide refill status, shipment updates, insurance verification, and invoice copies
Transfer clinical questions to pharmacists or nurses when appropriate
Identify and report adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs)
Perform other duties as assigned based on team or program needs

Required

Recent call center experience (1+ year)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and professional telephone manner
Ability to show empathy when speaking with patients
Proficiency in Microsoft applications
Reliable transportation
Ability to work and train on-site daily
High School Diploma or GED
One or more years of call center experience
Experience using management information systems
Strong customer service skills

Preferred

Associate degree preferred
Medical office experience or knowledge of medical terminology preferred
Pharmacy experience a plus (not required)
Medical claims experience a plus (not required)
Prior healthcare or pharmacy call center experience
Demonstrated reliability and strong attendance history
